Out of the ten species dealt with six have been previously collected from the Indian Coasts. Pseudosympodonmia indica Kurian, Cyclaspis cingulata Caiman, Iphitnoe calmani Fage and I. macrobrachium Caiman were previously obtained from the east coast of India, while Eocuma lata Caiman, E. striata sp, nov., Cyclaspis levis Thompson, Iphitnoe serrata Norman and Makrokylindrus (Coalescuma) fistularis (Caiman) are new records from the Indiar Coast. Family Bodotriidae predominates in the collection and I. calmani is the most common species in the region.
