The Prof. N. R. Menon Memorial Award for the Best Paper, instituted by the Marine Biological Association of India (MBAI) in memory of its past Vice President, Prof. N. R. Menon, recognizes outstanding research presented at MECOS. The award includes a ₹10,000 cash prize and a citation, honouring excellence in scientific contribution

Rojith of ICAR- Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute, Kochi for the best digital poster presentation entitled “Impacts and prospective resilient strategies for Indian marine fisheries sector to climate change” (CSD DP-11) in connection with the International Symposium Marine Ecosystems- Challenges and Opportunities (MECOS 3) during 7-10 January 2020 at the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI), Kochi-18.

2. Saikrithi, P., Sherly Tomy, Balasubramanian, C. P., Subhendu Kumar Otta of ICAR- Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture, Chennai-600 028, Tamil Nadu for the best digital presentation entitled “Involvement of Serotonin and Dopamine Receptors in the Neuroendocrine Mediation of Vitellogenesis in Penaeus Indicus” (MBT EP-15) in connection with the International Symposium Marine Ecosystems- Challenges and Opportunities (MECOS 3) during 7-10 January 2020 at the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI), Kochi-18.
