Without a set frequency, this honour is reserved for those whose exceptional and impactful achievements have left a lasting legacy.
Honorary Fellow of the Marine Biological Association of India (FMBAI): Award given to the Padma Shri Awardees:
1. Padma Shri Dr S. Ayyappan, Former Secretary, DARE & Director General, ICAR and a doyen in marine fisheries on 11th March 2024
2. Padma Shri Ali Manikfan who was a pioneer marine researcher at the CMFRI Mandapam Centre on 10th July 2024
