Topic of the study: Mass cultivation of selected microalgae for the extraction of protein hydrolysate

Highlights of the study

Microalgae have always been recognised for their exceptional nutritional composition with an unusual breadth of protein profile when compared to conventional proteins. Protein hydrolysate is one of the most valuable compounds that can be extracted from microalgal biomass. Among the various methods, enzymatic hydrolysis is advantageous due to its better retention of quality of protein hydrolysate, elimination of undesirable end products, and safe operational control.
