Anadara (Bivalvia) in the Indian and Pacific waters of Australia.

Abstract

Anadara, widespread in the North Pacific during the Cainozoic, migrated to the Australian mainland much later. It is now widely distributed in the waters of the Indian Ocean Oyestem Australia) and the Pacific Ocean (Eastern Australia). During the Last Interglacial it extended as far south as Tasmania.
