Twenty species of polyzoans belonging to the Division Malacostega occurring in the Indian waters are described and illustrated. Two species Electro crustulenta sub species borgii are described as new. Details regarding the range of variations in the zoological characters of the species are presented, together with comparisons with earlier descriptions and figures of the species recorded from elsewhere have also been furnished and discussed. Distributional aspects of the forms recorded have also been presented.
