Abstract

The polychaetous annelids named from India are listed in systematic arrangement, with references to their occurrences in the northern Indian Ocean. The area is here limited by the Red Sea on the west and the western side of the Malay Archipelago on the east. Excluded are many of the species named from the SIBOOA EXPEDITION, 1899-1900, and those from Semper's voyages to the Philippine Islands, named by Grube, 1878.
