Zur polychaetenfauna von natal (Sudafrika) (Mit betrachtungen zur zoogeographie und okologie).

Abstract

The present material was collected by C. Bsrrisford at the Natal coast near Durban. It consists of 39 species.

In zoogepgraphical view there are seven species endemic, five circumtropically and four world widely distributed species.

12 species are strongly restricted to sandy substrates and only one species lives on soft bottoms. The widely distributed species occur on different kinds of bottom.
