Seasonal distribution of Saccoglossus sp. in relation to abiotic parameters in the mangrove swamps of Sundarbans, West Bengal, India.

Abstract

This communications deals with the seasonal distribution of Saccoglossus sp. in the mangrove swamps of detaic Sundarbans. Some physico-chemical factors of the habitat have been studied and correlated with the hemichordate population. Significant relation was found with dissolved oxygen and burrow temperature.
